Accessibility

All areas are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility via lifts and ramps. Wheelchairs and walking sticks are available on request at reception.

Cloakroom & What to Leave

The cloakroom is free (level -1). Backpacks, bottles and umbrellas must be left there before your visit. Small strollers are permitted and also available on request.

Good to Know

Your ticket is valid for one entry only and all exits are final. A shop is located in the main hall, open during museum hours. Assistance animals are welcome; other animals are not permitted.

How Long Do You Need at the Musée Picasso?

Most visitors spend around 1.5 to 2 hours at the Musée national Picasso-Paris, though the length of a visit really depends on your own pace. That gives you time to move through the collection across the floors of the Hôtel Salé and take in any temporary exhibitions.

The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays), from 10:30 on weekdays and 09:30 at weekends, until 18:00 — and sits in the heart of the Marais, easy to combine with a stroll through the neighbourhood.

By Metro: Saint-Paul (Line 1), Saint-Sébastien – Froissart (Line 8) or Chemin Vert (Line 8), all within an 8-minute walk.

By Bus: Lines 29, 69, 75 and 96 stop nearby at “Saint-Claude” or “Rue Vieille du Temple”.

By Car: Driving is discouraged due to limited parking; the nearest public garage is Parking Public Temple, 132 Rue du Temple.
